Welcome to the Fox and Goose!
Fine Ales, Good Food and Great Atmosphere.
Set in the heart of an unspoilt Exmoor village, this charming free house remains a relaxing place where drinkers are welcomed with an open fire, selection of local ales from the Cotleigh and Exmoor breweries, and an extensive wine list.
The Fox & Goose is known as a destination for good food and there's a wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes, based on fresh produce from the surrounding farms and coast.
 The blackboard menus keep pace with daily changes including rustic pates, game, lamb and beef dishes, rich casseroles with tender vegetables and hearty pies
Fish is brought in daily from local boats, lobster from the seas off Lundy island, succulent mussels from the Taw and Torridge and wide varieties based on trawler catches brought to shore
Vegetarian menu taking advantage of seasonal ingredients
Plenty of wickedly indulgent homemade puddings!
Opening Hours
We open midday from 12:00 to 2:00pm and 6:00pm to 11:00pm (7:00pm to 10:30pm on Sundays).
Food is available from 12:00 to 2:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm (7:00pm to 9:pm on Sundays).
